Social Media Specialist 

The Social Media Specialist will work closely with the marketing team to implement our social media strategy, create engaging content, and support the management of our online presence for Ummah Media Group LLC, Muslim Ad Network, and IStandWithPalestine.org.

Job Brief

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about connecting with Muslim audiences and have a strong understanding of social media platforms and trends. The Social Media Specialist will work closely with the marketing team to implement our social media strategy, create engaging content, and support the management of our online presence for Ummah Media Group LLC, Muslim Ad Network, and IStandWithPalestine.org.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in a Social Media or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for connecting with Muslim audiences and promoting positive representation 
  • Experience working in the advertising or media industry 
  • Familiarity with tools for social media management and analytics 
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement for Ummah Media Group LLC, Muslim Ad Network, and IStandWithPalestine.org 
  • Create and publish relevant, high-quality content for our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn 
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages on our social media platforms in a timely and professional manner 
  • Analyze social media metrics and insights to optimize content and drive engagement 
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to ensure our social media presence is current and effective
